The Climate Torchbearers Awards 2025 are the official recognition platform of India Climate Conclave 2025 – designed to spotlight organisations and individuals turning India's climate vision into tangible, trackable outcomes.     Fill the ICC25 Awards nomination form with basic details: category, organisation profile, region, primary contact and brief summary of your climate initiative.

    Upload supporting documents: data sheets, report extracts, case studies, media coverage, certificates, photos or videos that showcase measurable climate impact.

    Screening & eligibility check
    The ICC25 Secretariat validates completeness, category fit and alignment with the awards guidelines before entries go to the jury.

    Jury review & shortlisting
    An expert jury evaluates eligible nominations against the evaluation matrix and finalises the shortlist and winners for each category.

    Awards ceremony at ICC25
    Winners are felicitated during the evening Climate Torchbearers Awards Ceremony at India Climate Conclave 2025 in New Delhi.

Who Can Be Nominated?

  • Initiatives must be significantly focused on climate mitigation, adaptation or resilience.
  • Projects should have at least one cycle of implementation with documentable outcomes.
  • Work carried out in/for India will be prioritised; collaborations with global entities are welcome.
  • Self-nominations and third-party nominations (partners, networks) are both accepted.
  • Multiple nominations from the same entity are allowed for distinct initiatives/categories.

Climate Impact
Weightage: ~35%

Quantified reduction in emissions, resource use, pollution or climate risks; number of people or ecosystems positively impacted, with supporting data where possible.

Innovation & Replicability
Weightage: ~25%

Novelty of approach, use of technology or models; ease of replication or adaptation across regions, sectors or communities.

Governance & Participation
Weightage: ~20%

Stakeholder engagement, inclusive processes, internal governance and accountability mechanisms driving long-term climate stewardship.

Strength of narrative, evidence infrastructure and cultural/ethical integration reflecting India’s climate leadership journey.

Yes. If you have distinct initiatives, you can submit separate nominations in multiple categories. Ensure that each nomination clearly focuses on one initiative and is supported with relevant evidence.
Is there a nomination fee?
Yes, there is a nominal nomination fee for ICC 25 Awards 2025. This contribution supports curation, expert jury evaluation, documentation of case studies and the on-ground awards ceremony experience at the India Climate Conclave. Once you complete your nomination form, you can securely pay the fee online using the link below.
Will my data and documents remain confidential?
Submitted documents are used exclusively for awards assessment and ICC25 knowledge outputs. Any public use (case studies, publications) will follow a consent process.
Do I need to attend ICC25 in person?
Physical presence is encouraged for winners and shortlisted nominees to maximise networking and visibility. However, hybrid options or representation can be explored where required.
